Ali Crisafulli

Registered Counsellor | Art Psychotherapist

Ali is our newest member of the Bold Psychology team. With diverse training and experience both within and outside therapeutic settings, Ali is passionate about supporting children, teens, young adults, parents, and teachers to process and grow through their thoughts, feelings, challenges, and life encounters.

Ali applies an integrative approach to her practice, acknowledging that numerous aspects can contribute to one's experience and tailoring the therapeutic process to align with these unique presentations and needs. Along with client-centered counselling, trauma-informed practice, CBT, and psychoeducation, Ali works within the Expressive Arts Therapy framework- an approach which utilises art materials and the creative process to work through core issues and generate meaningful therapeutic change. Art therapy can also be profoundly beneficial in accessing thoughts, feelings, or memories in a non-confronting way that are often difficult to put into words.

Whilst sessions are informed by these evidence-based modalities and research, Ali places a strong focus on creating a safe and collaborative space for clients to comfortably share, navigate, and develop their personal stories.
